The National Institute of Sport & Fitness:

 

The N.I.S.F is an exclusive private training studio in Cedar Grove N.J. founded by Michael & Lori LaToracca. This where Gordon does the majority of his personal training, sports conditioning and injury post-rehabilitation. The N.I.S.F is only minutes from Montclair, Upper Montclair, Verona, The Caldwells and Montclair State University. It is easily accessible from Routes: 23, 46, 3 and The Garden State Parkway. 

 

 The N.I.S.F clientele ranges from busy executives, medical professionals and ordinary people to youth, professional and recreational athletes  who are serious about their fitness goals and want to train without becoming a public spectacle like those seen in commercial gyms and fitness centers.

 

There is NO membership fee for The N.I.S.F; members meet only with their trainer for a scheduled appointment thus there are NO: crowds, waiting time for equipment, loud classes, or annoying announcements and sales people interrupting your workout.

 

The N.I.S.F is unique in that not only does it provide a full spectrum of resistance & cardiovascular training equipment but it also includes extensive functional training equipment and the areas only year round indoor sports training facility. Indoor sports training includes: Olympic lifting platform, plyometrics boxes & stands, batting cage with pitching machine (baseball & softball) sports turf, regulation basketball backboard, gymnastics rings, TRX suspension training, medicine ball rebounding, sand bags, heavy bag, focus gloves and Wave- master free standing striking bag.

 

The N.I.S.F. is open 7 days a week by appointment and has unlimited free parking, male & female locker rooms, multiple rest rooms, and shower facilities.
